Marijuana News Online - Marijuana is Illegal Until It's Legal!

Many cannabis companies have been severely impacted due to cannabis news online reports, เว็บข่าวกัญชา Moment, national cannabis retailer chain, MedMen, were temporarily shut down on June 1st, 2021, following a number of their retail accounts were robbed, and also locally operated and owned by local entrepreneurs. However, despite this new development in the cannabis industry, it appears that cannabis use and sales are still increasing, and that the cannabis industry has many more years ahead of it as it continues to grow in legal status across the United States. There are other states across the country that have legalized medical marijuana use for those suffering from debilitating medical conditions, and recreational use in adult use. Some people argue that cannabis is safer than alcohol and tobacco, and therefore should be legalized across the country.

In the last year, there have been a number of high profile cannabis industry executives that have come out of retirement. Among them is Canadian entrepreneur Bruce Linton, who is now the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Canopy Growth Labs, a company that develops and manufactures vapor vaporizer pens and related equipment. Linton previously served as an executive at Energy Brands Limited, where he helped launch several digital agencies. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Toronto's School of Business and has previously served as a marketing executive for pharmaceutical and bio-tech companies. The cannabis industry is one of his areas of expertise.

While many media sources have reported that Canadians are vacationing in Colorado, where cannabis stores recently opened for business, many tourists are actually visiting U.S. states that have legalized medical marijuana. Tourists from Canada are visiting the states of Illinois, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, California, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut. In fact, out of these four states, the third, Massachusetts, has been deemed the top tourist destination in the U.S. by National Travel and Tourism Association. Marijuana is also legal in Canada, although it is illegal to sell or distribute through the use of any connection or supply chain. It is legal to use and possess in Canada, but the sale and distribution of it are not yet regulated by the Canadian government. This means that although Canadians may legally enjoy marijuana, selling or distributing to the U.S. market is strictly illegal.

Canadian news online has reported on various events that are taking place within the medical cannabis industry in Canada. For example, the Canadian Marijuana Producers Association, which represents the interests of Canadian marijuana businesses, met with Health Canada, which is responsible for overseeing medical cannabis activities in the country. At the meeting, the association was notified that licensed Canadian pharmacies would be required to sell medical cannabis directly to patients. Later in the fall, Health Canada posted the new policy on its website, which is currently being revised, indicating that licensed Canadian pharmacies will only be allowed to provide information on the licensed distribution and sale of medical cannabis.

The Canadian marijuana conundrum has brought forth an interesting line of discussion among Canadian news readers. Some citizens are confused as to what the government's plan for legalization is going to be; while other citizens are expecting the legalization of recreational use of cannabis to occur sooner rather than later, sometime in the next two to five years. However, there is one thing that all news sources are saying regarding the coming of legalized recreational use of cannabis in Canada. Marijuana is going to remain illegal under the federal government until it is legalized federally. Even if the Trudeau government legalizes the recreational use of cannabis, the laws against the cultivation, distribution, possession, and consumption of marijuana will remain in effect until Canada's parliamentarians can pass a corresponding law.

Marijuana, which remains illegal under the federal government, should become legalized and regulated by the provinces, until it is legalized federally. Marijuana advocates, including the Marijuana Shop Owners Association of Canada, want this to happen sooner rather than later, because they believe that it will make the cannabis industry healthier, more productive, and help marijuana users avoid being addicted to harder drugs. According to The Canadian Medical Association, marijuana is not considered a safe drug. Marijuana addiction is also a rising issue across the United States, with marijuana use among school-aged children increasing dramatically. If marijuana is legalized, it will be easier for people to access it, sell it, and have more control over its production, distribution, and consumption.
